Friday’s training session led to one piece of good news and one bad for Real Madrid. The good news was the return of Isco Alarcon after his ankle sprain. The bad thing was that Lucas Vazquez suffered a muscle sprain.
One bit of good news and one piece of bad news. Isco returned to training at Valdebebas after recovering from an ankle sprain, but this Friday, Lucas Vazquez picked up an injury.
Isco’s return was the main piece of good news. He was still limping from his injury, but at least he was training even though it was on his own. He remains a doubt for Real Madrid’s league opener a week on Sunday.
Not all was positive though. Lucas Vazquez also trained individually and picked up a muscle injury after overworking it.
‘Mundo Deportivo’ says that it is only a minor injury and that he should have no problem being fit for the trip to Real Sociedad.
