Barcelona coach Ronald Koeman has analised the first two weeks of pre-season. The Dutchman is satisfied and happy that Messi is staying.
Ronald Koeman spoke to Barcelona’s official media channels to analyse the pre-season so far. Most of the talk in the last few weeks has been about Leo Messi.
The coach decided to focus on the work done by all of his footballers although he was asked about the Argentinian striker Leo Messi: “He’s the best and I’ve said it many times. He’s an important player and he has shown it for many years. I hope he can keep doing that this season.”
“It is all being very positive. There is very good intensity in training. The first and second week have been to get fitness and now we have to work on tactics. In all the sessions, they have shown lots of interest,” the Barca coach said.
One of the things Koeman must do is unite the dressing room and create a great atmosphere because it will be key to how things go next season. This Saturday will be the first test. It is against local side Nastic.
“Intensity is the most important thing and you play how you train. I’m very happy with the work the team have done these last two weeks,” he concluded.
